Although Dog Happiness Be vzw primarily focuses on improving the living conditions of shelter dogs on-site, adoptions play a crucial role in keeping the number of dogs under control.

Our shelter dogs are all unique: from playful, trendy companions to charming mixed breeds of various sizes, colors, coat types, and ages. The dogs on this page are ready for adoption and travel-ready.

Because right now you can’t offer a home to a dog.

For the dogs that, due to old age or medical issues, can no longer stay in the large group at the shelter, we seek placement in a "Gnadenhof" a small-scale foster home or sanctuary.

The costs for this type of specialized care are higher, which is why we are specifically looking for sponsors to support these dogs.

For the price of two cups of coffee per month (€5 – more is always welcome), you can join our coffee club and help provide basic care for 750 dogs, including food, winter aid, medical care, and more.
